- Put on gloves to prevent contamination of the cartridges during the process.
- Inspect the cartridge to ensure the needles are in good condition (i.e., not bent) and remove any debris.
- Pour an adequate amount of alcohol solution into the container. Dip the cartridge needle into the solution and soak for a few minutes.
- If using an alcohol spray, apply it to the needle head of the cartridge.
- Allow the cartridge to air dry completely before use.
