A 15-minute reset routine that protects every client, your equipment, and your professional reputation.
A 5-minute demonstration of the complete 15-minute between-client cleaning protocol: handpiece sanitization, treatment bed reset, linen change, surface disinfection.
Between-client cleaning is where amateurs and professionals separate. Done poorly, you risk client infections, reputation damage, and legal liability. Done well, you build the trust that grows your practice.
Allocate 15 minutes between clients: 3 min handpiece sanitization, 4 min bed/linen reset, 4 min surface and trolley cleaning, 2 min documentation, 2 min mental reset and prep for next client.
NEVER use alcohol on the active transducer surface of cavitation handpieces – degrades over time. Use only fresh-water + mild soap for transducers. 70% isopropyl alcohol is safe for handpiece body, cables, surfaces, but NOT the active head.
Clients judge your cleanliness in 5 seconds upon arrival. Visible cleaning rituals (you wiping a surface as they walk in, fresh towels laid out, clean smell) communicate professionalism even more than the actual cleaning effectiveness.

Manufacturer warranty typically covers material defects only. Damage from improper cleaning (wrong solvents on transducers, submersion in water) is excluded. Following this protocol protects both your equipment and your warranty.
For standard treatment rooms with one machine: yes, with practiced efficiency. For multi-area sessions or higher-risk modalities (microneedling), allow 20 min. Always over-book reset time rather than rushing.
You are ready to handle complex client work professionally.
