Business Model ยท Multi-Service Practice
Comprehensive equipment platforms for operators running the broadest aesthetic menu in their market. All-in-one combination devices, modular expansion towers, bundled platform packages โ engineered to deliver 6+ service categories from a coherent equipment stack.
Platform devices
Multi-service practices have unique requirements โ single-modality devices waste room space, but cheap "combo" devices deliver mediocre quality. Our platforms engineer each modality as a dedicated subsystem.
Modality drilldown
Modality: Non-surgical fat reduction via controlled cooling.
Typical client: Body contouring focus, 35+ demographic, 4โ8 session package.
Treatment time: 35 minutes per session (multi-applicator).
Per-session pricing: $250โ500 in mid-market metros.
Package pricing: 6-session at $1,200โ1,800.
Equipment subsystem: Dedicated cooling system with membrane-temp sensor, independent of other modalities. If RF or HIFU module fails, cryo continues operating normally.
Platform engineering
Each modality (cryo, RF, HIFU, cavitation) has its own dedicated power supply, cooling system, and signal processing. Generic "5-in-1" devices share these systems โ which is why they underperform per modality. Our platforms are physically larger but deliver production-grade output across all modalities.
Single-device failure normally takes down the entire device. Our platforms isolate failures โ if HIFU module fails, cryo and RF continue operating. For multi-service practices, this means a service issue takes down 1 service line, not 3โ4.
Modular Tower supports adding modalities over time. Start with cryo + RF, add HIFU in year 2, add cavitation in year 3. Each module is $8โ15K vs $25K+ of a new full device. Lower-risk way to expand service menu.
A multi-service practice running 4 dedicated single-modality devices needs ~6 sq m of equipment space. Our platforms deliver the same 4 modalities in ~3.6 sq m. Additional treatment room or smaller real estate at equivalent service breadth.
Our platforms use a unified UI paradigm across modalities. Staff trained on one modality learns another in ~30 minutes (vs learning a different device UI). Accelerates cross-training significantly.
One service contract covers all modalities on the platform. Lower than the sum of multiple single-modality service contracts because the platform shares some service components across modalities.
Platform vs combo devices
| Feature | Generic combo devices | Lazzybeauty platform engineering |
|---|---|---|
| Modality count per device | 5+ "all-in-one" (poor each) | 3โ4 modalities, production-grade each |
| Per-modality output quality | Compromised โ shared components | Each modality runs dedicated subsystems |
| Session reconfiguration time | Frequent between modes | Single-touch mode switch, no recalibration |
| Failure isolation | One component failure disables device | Modality-level redundancy |
| Modular expansion | Not available | Modular Tower: add modules as discrete units |
| Footprint vs single-modality set | Equivalent but lower quality | 60% of equivalent single-modality device set |
| Cross-staff training time | Each device trained separately | Unified UI โ 1-day cross-modality |
| Warranty per modality | Single-modality warranty | Each modality has independent 3-year warranty |

Multi-service economics
Most "all-in-one" devices compromise โ shared power supplies, cooling, applicators across modalities means each underperforms vs dedicated. Our platforms engineer each modality with dedicated subsystems. Result: cryo on our platform is cryo-grade, RF is RF-grade, HIFU is HIFU-grade.
A typical multi-service practice running 4 dedicated single-modality devices needs ~6 sq m of equipment space. Our platforms deliver the same modalities in ~3.6 sq m. That's an additional treatment room or a smaller real estate footprint at equivalent service breadth.
Modular Tower supports adding modalities over time. Lower-risk way to expand service menu as client demand develops. Each new module is $8โ15K vs $25K+ of a new full device.
Our platforms isolate failures by modality. If HIFU module fails, cryo and RF continue operating. For multi-service practices, this means a service issue takes down 1 service line, not 3โ4. Major operational reliability improvement.
Equipment FAQ
Generic combo devices typically do โ they share power supplies, cooling systems, and even applicators across modalities. Our platforms are engineered differently: each modality has dedicated power and cooling subsystems. The device is physically larger than a “5-in-1” generic combo, but each modality runs at the same production-grade as our dedicated single-modality devices.
