A complete step-by-step walkthrough of your first home cavitation treatment.
A complete three-minute walkthrough: device setup, safety patch test, the full main treatment, and clean-up.
The first cavitation session is the most important one. Get the setup right, do a proper patch test, and stick to the recommended duration, and you will set yourself up for safe, consistent results over the next 6 to 12 sessions.
Your skin and tissue need a gentle introduction to ultrasonic cavitation. Pushing intensity too high on day one is the most common mistake new users make.
Drink at least 500ml of water 30 minutes before the session. Hydrated tissue responds better to ultrasonic energy.
Never treat over bones (sternum, hip bones, spine). Stay on soft tissue only.

Pillar 2
This is the most important session of your protocol. Take your time, watch the video first, then follow each step below.
| Step | Why this matters |
|---|---|
| Drink 500ml of water | Hydration improves ultrasonic energy transmission and reduces post-session fatigue. |
| Eat lightly 1-2 hours before | A heavy meal can cause discomfort during abdominal treatments. |
| Clean and dry the treatment area | Oils and creams interfere with the conductive gel. |
| Remove all jewelry from the area | Metal can heat up under ultrasonic waves. |
Apply a generous amount of conductive gel (3-5 ml) across the treatment area.
Always start at the lowest frequency setting (20kHz) on your first session.
Move in slow, overlapping circles. Cover each spot for 3-5 seconds. Never hold stationary.
Set a timer for 15 minutes. Even if you feel fine, stop.
This is the ultrasonic frequency. Completely harmless and disappears when device turns off.
Gentle heating of treated tissue. Normal and expected during sessions.
Some users report mild tingling. Not painful.
STOP immediately. Indicates too much intensity or stationary handpiece. Reduce settings.
Stop and wait 48 hours before next session. Reduce intensity by 1 level.
Mistake
Going too long on first session
Consequence
Bruising, fatigue, redness, soreness for days.
Do this instead
Stick to 15 minutes maximum. Set a timer.
Mistake
Holding handpiece stationary
Consequence
Skin burns and tissue damage.
Do this instead
Keep moving in slow, overlapping circles.
Mistake
Not enough gel
Consequence
Painful drag on skin, reduced effectiveness.
Do this instead
Reapply gel every 5 minutes. Should always feel slippery.
Right after treatment:
Keep your first session to 15 minutes maximum, even if you feel comfortable.
Make sure you have a quality machine and the right consumables.
